I cant begin to express how annoyed and frustrated I am, Ive been trying to get on to a representative 2 DAYS now. For each attempt im left on hold for over 2 hours and then the call gets disconnected.
My account has been blocked, when trying to login to my account I get a message saying to call customer service which has been and is the worse experience Ive ever encountered with a bank.
I cant even see my own money, I cant access it and I have NO help - Im disgusted by the service, seeing that this is an online account with no physical bank there should be a better customer service - I called In since 8:01 am it is now 11:04 am and Im still on hold ! I will take every penny out of this bank as soon as I can !

I live in Kentucky and each year we are required to enroll into a health insurance policy through our state exchange. At this time of year around October and November it is like fire drill trying to deal with all the insurance agents calling you trying to sell you insurance.
After talking to my agent I went to my state exchange to view different policies. A pop was used telling me to call a certain number. Once called they convinced me they were my agent and said I needed to give a credit card to get the coverage started for the new coming year which I did. It turned out this company association health care management and scam me selling garbage insurance.
I complain to discover card about this debacle and so far I have 12 hours invested in dealing with the situation with Discover. The scam company continues to withdraw close to $300 from a credit card account every month. I have been with Discover since 1986 and this company customer service has literally gone to *** Eventually I had to cancel my credit card account which Discover card made every effort to prevent me from doing. Folks something has happened with Discover and anyone like me who has been with the company since 1986 would know for sure!
I urge everyone to avoid Discover card at all cost until they start protecting your clients better than they do.
Discover card personnel are extremely ignorant and don't know what the right hand is doing. In closing I have one word Run!

Unacceptable customer service.
I opened an online savings account. After several days I received an email and a phone call stating there was "unusual activity" on my account and to contact them immediately.
I tried to contact them and waited for over 2 hours to speak to someone in their fraud department. I learned there wasn't actually fraudulent activity on my account but they needed to FREEZE MY ACCOUNT for 10 days to make sure the deposit "legitimate." (though it was transferred another FDIC bank.) After 10 days I went online and was still unable to access my account or MY MONEY. I attempted to call and have literally been waiting for over 6 hours and still have not gotten through. " We are experiencing higher than normal call volumes, the estimated wait time is over 3 hours" .
THIS IS COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE. I give them ZERO stars.
If I could give negative stars it would be a million. DO NOT EVER OPEN ACCOUNT with DISCOVER!

BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE. THE WORST BANK EVER. I DONT ADVISE ANYONE TO USE THIS BANK
Gave me a credit limit of 3000.00 then states i could use it i think they are a scam

Terrible customer service

It is almost impossible to reach the only retail branch that they have.
I had made an appointment to close my father's account at Discover. However, there was a problem filling his Will so I tried to call the Greenwood Discover office to cancel the appointment.
My call routed me to Phoenix and Salt Lake City call centers 4 times. They kept giving me the Greenwood number, but since no one picked up in Greenwood I kept getting a call center and they were unable to give them a message that I had to cancel my appointment, which was in 1 hour. There should be a way to contact this office and leave a message if no one there answers. It was very frustrating.
I was irritated, but not "pissed" and I very much resent being labeled that way. This is bathroom language and has no place in Corporate America.
Please have more respect for your customers and your Bank. Definitely train your employees how to conduct themselves professionally.
User's recommendation: Use another banking institution if possible. Having one office for a national institution is very inconvenient. Not being able to reach them directly is rediculous.
I questioned a discover card purchase at snook have restaurant I want to know balance and dues date on 2 cards ending in 1323 and 7243

Very true. I am trying to chase them from 2 weeks, calling everyday from 8am till 11pm and no one is answering the call.
I am being on call for hours and hours. This is the only number they ask me to call and no one is answering 877- 737-****.
