Discover is evil because they give money to the democrat party. I can't a credit card but Discover will happy charge people late fees and deny people credit cards.

I cant begin to express how annoyed and frustrated I am, Ive been trying to get on to a representative 2 DAYS now. For each attempt im left on hold for over 2 hours and then the call gets disconnected.

My account has been blocked, when trying to login to my account I get a message saying to call customer service which has been and is the worse experience Ive ever encountered with a bank.

I cant even see my own money, I cant access it and I have NO help - Im disgusted by the service, seeing that this is an online account with no physical bank there should be a better customer service - I called In since 8:01 am it is now 11:04 am and Im still on hold ! I will take every penny out of this bank as soon as I can !

Very true. I am trying to chase them from 2 weeks, calling everyday from 8am till 11pm and no one is answering the call.

I am being on call for hours and hours. This is the only number they ask me to call and no one is answering 877- 737-****.

I received a debit card from Discover and I do not have and account at Discover

I received a Debit card from Discover, to my knowledge I have no accounts with Discover. Noty Un My name is on the back, card looks real. I have tried to call and talk to some one. I have been transferred to a different number and informed wait time of 90 minutes. Today I have been sitting on the phone waiting to talk to someone for al most THREE HOURS. At this point is a good thing I do not have an account at DICOVER. SERVICE SUCKS!!! My phone number is 785-383-**** I would love to get a call back about this...

Bad customer service and no protection for clients

I live in Kentucky and each year we are required to enroll into a health insurance policy through our state exchange. At this time of year around October and November it is like fire drill trying to deal with all the insurance agents calling you trying to sell you insurance.

After talking to my agent I went to my state exchange to view different policies. A pop was used telling me to call a certain number. Once called they convinced me they were my agent and said I needed to give a credit card to get the coverage started for the new coming year which I did. It turned out this company association health care management and scam me selling garbage insurance.

I complain to discover card about this debacle and so far I have 12 hours invested in dealing with the situation with Discover. The scam company continues to withdraw close to $300 from a credit card account every month. I have been with Discover since 1986 and this company customer service has literally gone to *** Eventually I had to cancel my credit card account which Discover card made every effort to prevent me from doing. Folks something has happened with Discover and anyone like me who has been with the company since 1986 would know for sure!

I urge everyone to avoid Discover card at all cost until they start protecting your clients better than they do.

Discover card personnel are extremely ignorant and don't know what the right hand is doing. In closing I have one word Run!

Unacceptable customer service.

I opened an online savings account. After several days I received an email and a phone call stating there was "unusual activity" on my account and to contact them immediately.

I tried to contact them and waited for over 2 hours to speak to someone in their fraud department. I learned there wasn't actually fraudulent activity on my account but they needed to FREEZE MY ACCOUNT for 10 days to make sure the deposit "legitimate." (though it was transferred another FDIC bank.) After 10 days I went online and was still unable to access my account or MY MONEY. I attempted to call and have literally been waiting for over 6 hours and still have not gotten through. " We are experiencing higher than normal call volumes, the estimated wait time is over 3 hours" .

THIS IS COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE. I give them ZERO stars.

If I could give negative stars it would be a million. DO NOT EVER OPEN ACCOUNT with DISCOVER!

1st time ever!! Discover sends an email saying they need to verify info from tax returns and they lock the account. I call them to say I have an auto payment that is charged to the card and they say it will still go through, just can use the card in person. Get notified that the auto payment didn't go through. Call them up and they say no transactions will go through. I have never in all my years had a CC company do this. Total BS!!! They have to get info from IRS, who knows how long this will take.

Waste of time

We paid off our home last month, no car payment, 200.00 in revolving credit. I make low six figures, have a credit score of 815 as an average between all credit bureaus According to discover, it says my Discover payment was analyzed- 20 a month auto paid for tolls never late -5 years Recent inquiry too soon- I got a gas card- if im going to be screwed, at least give me .05 cents off a gallon Bank account- too few deposits- i put money in weekly and i did this to keep credit number up Denied for loan- i do not need a losn, but this was a waste of time, i do not recommend anyone waste their time

Terrible customer service

Just transferred $s from another bank to Discover Bank. On day 2 I received an email notice that they noticed some potentially fraudulent activity and to call. Great except call queue is 3 hours. Tried for two days and they have locked the account so I cant access. How convenient. Better to know now.

I had made an appointment to close my father's account at Discover. However, there was a problem filling his Will so I tried to call the Greenwood Discover office to cancel the appointment.

My call routed me to Phoenix and Salt Lake City call centers 4 times. They kept giving me the Greenwood number, but since no one picked up in Greenwood I kept getting a call center and they were unable to give them a message that I had to cancel my appointment, which was in 1 hour. There should be a way to contact this office and leave a message if no one there answers. It was very frustrating.

I was irritated, but not "pissed" and I very much resent being labeled that way. This is bathroom language and has no place in Corporate America.

Please have more respect for your customers and your Bank. Definitely train your employees how to conduct themselves professionally.

User's recommendation: Use another banking institution if possible. Having one office for a national institution is very inconvenient. Not being able to reach them directly is rediculous.

Snookhsven restsrsnt in Venice FL FEB 2021 in the amt of $150. I think employee gave me a blank gift card and kept the valuable one . My brother attempted to redeem it. My claim was denied. DISAPPOINTED

Refused to give me notes on my file.

I filed for a dispute with Discover after I was overcharged 50% on a purchase I did not consent to. After a 3 way call with a investigator, I was promised a refund by the merchant and discover. Since then, Discover has refused to follow through and help me get my money back. The dispute agents were inconsistent, careless, and were just rude. They refused to give me notes on my own file and I will now be working with my attorney. Basically, if you want a bank who you can trust and who will follow through, don't bank with Discover.
